The Best of the Internet Smorgasbord

There is an entire buffet of information on the internet. You can find out how to do just about anything! In our house, we search often for trivia — hubby is a sports trivia person and he creates 4 quizzes a year for his old high school baseball team (they played ball in the 1950’s, folks!)

But I have a special little list of places I go for inspiration on the net — on those days when I need a boost, a positive thought, a little motivation. My list changes from time to time, but isn’t it wonderful to know that you can find instant inspiration right on your computer? These are my recommendations for inspiration today:

Daily Word I have been reading Daily Word for over 20 years now, and I was thrilled to find it on line, too. These are just short little devotionals from Unity — and quite often they are exactly what I need for the day!

LiteMind LiteMind is one of my most favorite blogs — and I deliberately set this link to my most favorite post — How to Tackle Any Issue with A List of 100! I imagine I have read that one post at least 50 times since the day it was published. It’s a technique that works for me over and over and over again!

Do you have a favorite spot on the net for inspiration? Will you share with us? Leave a comment and tell us about it. We all need inspiration daily. And thank you.

PS This is post # 2 of 30 in the 30 day challenge.

You know I had never thought of it as an Internet Smorgasbord…but it is just that! We can “nibble” on anything out there and return for seconds if we chose. Great post, Joan!

Thank you, Joan, for mentioning the prayers! They are not my prayers. They come from a place I never knew existed!

I agree with you that Daily Prayer for Healing has become one of my daily favorites. I have been looking at Sam Javanrouh’s Daily Dose of Imagery every day for the last 5 years at least. I get pictures of my old hometown Toronto every day. I will check yours out.

  10. Thank you. I am all for inspiration and positive thoughts. I am hopeful that my blog about smart seniors follows in your foot steps.
I am also hopeful that readers will find my articles inspirational, too as I try to focus on the positive side of retirement and aging. I I am a senior myself and have worked with seniors for years so have seen both sides of the coin. We need you. Linda
