My Life As A Senior

Welcome to Life After 60.  Here we will explore all the ways that us seniors can improve our lives and remain active and independent.

Adams Family PortraitThese posts will include everything from health information to recipes to senior jokes — anything of interest to those of us from babyboomers to the elderly.

My husband is legally blind and has been since 1988. We easily qualify as senior citizens. We have been married for almost 50 years, have two adult children and two adorable grandchildren. Isn’t grandparenting the very best part of life?

Over the years, we have found some helpful products and I like telling you about them. Quite frankly, I don’t want you to have to search for these items like I did. I also will tell you about items that are helpful in the kitchen for seniors and for the legally blind. My husband does not cook at all. But watching him in the kitchen fumbling with things sometimes, I have a peek into what items I would want in my kitchen if I was the one with the vision problems. I believe my unique perspective will be of help to those who suffer with vision difficulties.

I very proudly select the products and companies that I recommend to you whether they are products for seniors, the legally blind, hearing impaired, diabetic or arthritic. I am an affiliate with many of these companies and yes, I do make a small commission when you click to purchase from my pages.

It is my sincere hope that you will find this information helpful.  And if you would like to make topic suggestions,  I would enjoy hearing them! Leave me a note – I sincerely want this blog to be helpful for all of us seniors! And thank you for being here!
